Cellular Booster Systems

Cellular signal enhancers which are known as cell boosters for small applications, or distributed antenna systems (DAS) for larger applications, are simply systems which extend effective cellular coverage into areas that are underserved.

Cellular signals experience attenuation (loss) in passing through vegetation, building materials and landforms. A cellular booster, in many cases, can restore the signal to provide clear and reliable cellular service.

Booster systems for homes or small offices are generally simple systems that will provide service for a few cellular devices at a time. This can eliminate the inconvenience and annoyance of dropped calls as well as inability to use text, email or other data services.

For larger buildings, providing cellular service in “dead” areas can assist with business functions like sales and management. Also sometimes neglected are the requirement for communications for factory service representatives for important industrial equipment. First responders can also be greatly assisted by the availability of clear communications when responding to calls in industrial and commercial facilities.
